Built soon after George Stephenson constructed the North Yorkshire
Moors Railway in 1836, these two nineteenth century cottages are
situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors.
Constructed of Yorkshire stone, the cottages have been modernised,
yet a great deal of care and attention has been made to preserve
their original style and charm.
Amidst beautiful scenery, possibly the finest valley in England
surrounded by open moorland and forest hill sides, Platelayers Holiday
Cottages are an ideal base for walking, touring or simply relaxing.
